At Yvan&Co we want to limit our environmental impact as much as possible. To achieve this, we make it a point of honour to carefully select our suppliers. From the wine to the label, it is important to work with people who share our values.
bottles
Today the average weight of a bottle of wine (empty) is 500g. We have chosen to work with a bottle that weighs only 395g. Why do we do this? A lighter bottle means less raw materials used during the manufacturing process and above all less carbon impact during transport. For us, no difference, for you the same, but for the planet it's a small gesture that makes a big difference!
labels
The paper we use for the labels in our Yvan&Co range is 100% natural: 95% is made from bagasse (sugar cane waste) and 5% from hemp and linen. What's more, we wanted this label to be 100% biodegradable, so instead of using varnish or classic gilding, we opted for a transparent gilding, without any trace of iron or other metals. So, we can make something beautiful without damaging the planet any further.

From the wine to the cork! Our cork is made from 97% natural bio-sourced cork. The cork has been carefully chosen for its origin but also for its qualities of preservation and conservation of wine.
